I thought about this after reading :iconshadowstar1021: 's journal earlier today.

Disabilities and Mental illnesses are NOT jokes. They are serious. I've never seen it happen irl, but when someone online lies or pretends to have a mental illness, all I think is "why?" Do you really want attention that bad? Do you want everyone's sympathy so much you lie and say something's wrong with you? That's just sad. It really is.

Then there are the people that make fun of people with disabilities and mental disorders or talk about them behind their backs.  I'll give three examples:

1. Last year my fake friends and I were outside of the school waiting for the bell to ring. There were two boys with autism a few feet away from us. My "friends" were whispering things about them. I remember one of them saying they were gay. The two boys were walking toward our direction and they both said "let's run." They ran. I regret walking behind them still.

2. There's a boy in my art class that's autistic (there's something else wrong with him but I forgot what it was). He can't really talk but says a few things (like my older cousin). He screams in class a lot and I can tell the others are annoyed, especially this gay guy I'm friends with and his friend I sit with. They always complain about him and stare at him. The lady that helps him yells at him too.

3. There's another boy that's autistic. He's really nice and says good morning to everyone. Before he said good morning to me, my "friend", and her sister. When he walked away, my friend just looked at him crazy. I really wish I said something to her.

And then we have the people that either want to help or the people that are rude/harsh that don't understand what we're going through.

I have anxiety. It's pretty bad. Sometimes I think I'll get rid of my SA. Other times I don't. When/if I need help with it or I'm having a panic attack, I'd rather get help from people like :iconshadowstar1021: , :icongreenlumas: , :iconshineeternal: , :iconmanyface-blake: , and :iconcpr-covet: (sorry if you're not listed. I'm too tired to think of more people XD) instead of people that say "I give up on you" or "I give up on most teens with disorders."

Now I can't speak for everyone that has a disorder, but for the ones that have a psychologist or psychiatrist or went to one before:
1. We are NOT crazy
2. We are NOT psycho
3. We are NOT bad people
4. We ARE full citizens (some people think we're not)

I think everyone needs a psychologist (no, not because I think you have a mental illness -_-) because we all have been through something and need help. (Ex: some people were abused, others were raped, etc.)

Sorry for the long journal. But I wish people can understand that this isn't funny
